Dave Hutt

Dave has been a professional portrait and commercial photographer and printer since his apprenticeship in the spring of 1973. In all that time since, he has worked with studios and labs in Colorado, California, and in his native Pacific Northwest. He has exhibited his silver gelatin and digital prints in galleries throughout the west, and has been published in The Sand Hill Review and other publications. He prints and sells his fine-art photography to collectors throughout the U.S.

He lives in Portland Oregon, and his studio is in Oregon City.

Since he now only takes the occasional commercial project, he devotes his time to giving workshops, personal projects, and the occasional walkabout with friends and fellow photographers.

Dave also writes a personal blog where he muses about photography, philosophy, and art. Although technically a photography blog, he often wanders far from the point; you are cordially invited to read and follow.
